Friendly Visitors

A volunteer friend to visit a homebound older adult to hold a hand…play a game…or just sit and talk.

Volunteer Transportation Programs

A caring volunteer driver who focuses on the special needs of those who have no other way to get to handle personal errands like medical visits, drug store pick-ups and financial appointments in a safe manner.

Voucher Taxi Program

A limited use subsidized taxi program for those who no longer drive but are still independent at their destination. Designed especially for rides to medical and financial appointments, drug store or grocery shopping.

Information and Referral

Each referral receives the attention it deserves, including the all important follow-up to make sure your needs are being met. We maintain an up-to-date library of agencies and services community to make referral complete and timely.

Weekly Coop Grocery Shopping

Instituted in cooperation with The British Home Retirement Community the weekly excursions offer access to local groceries, banks and pharmacies. Caregiver assistance is offered for those who need help with shopping.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers

Caregiving can be stressful…physically, emotionally and financially. Powerful Tools for Caregivers is an educational program designed to provide you — the caregiver — with the tools needed to take care of yourself.
