The Power of your hour…is a great way to give back to your community and help your elderly neighbors!

Driver Volunteers drive frail elderly to and from appointments as needed. Our drivers are good listeners, too and help identify client’s needs or complaints as they are expressed, reporting to staff about the experience as needed. PeopleCare does reimburse our volunteers for the cost of fuel.

Friendly Visitors meet with the frail elderly clients in their home or retirement facility as needed so they may talk and reminisce. Being a good listener and help identify client’s needs or complaints as they are expressed, reporting to staff about the experience as needed.
